Galaxy Tab S12 Plus Price in Nigeria and Where to Buy

Check Galaxy Tab S12 Plus pricing in Nigeria, separate estimates from available stock and compare storage, accessories and seller support.

Galaxy Tab S12 Plus Price in Nigeria and Where to Buy

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus looks like the more manageable large Samsung tablet, but what does it cost in Nigeria? The linked figure of about ₦1,678,600 is an estimate. It isn’t a verified final offer from a Nigerian retailer, so I’d use it to plan a budget rather than as a price you can pay today.

I like the Plus because you get a 12.6-inch AMOLED display and S Pen without moving up to the Ultra’s much larger body. If that sounds like your kind of tablet, here’s what to know about the model, the accessories and the local price before handing over your money.

The estimate was checked on 21 October 2026. I’d keep the date beside it until a shop confirms a current offer for the storage and connectivity I want.

Choosing the version

Choosing the version: Galaxy Tab S12 Plus

The Tab S12 Plus is the 12.6-inch model. It sits below the 14.6-inch Ultra, but it’s still a large premium tablet. Make sure a seller is quoting the S12 Plus rather than a different generation’s Plus or a more affordable FE model.

Ask for the model code, storage, memory and connectivity in writing. A Wi-Fi model and a 5G model aren’t the same listing, even if both use the same product photograph. Samsung’s regional stock and configurations can also vary.

I’d decide the cellular question early. If your phone’s hotspot already works well and the tablet mostly stays at home or in class with Wi-Fi, cellular may be an unnecessary extra. If it will be your main connection during travel, check the exact model’s Nigerian network compatibility before paying for it.

For a student, the S Pen being included is a useful part of the package. You can start taking notes without adding another expensive item to the basket. If typing is only occasional, I’d try a basic cover first and decide on a keyboard later. That keeps the initial spending focused on what you’ll actually use.

The estimated price

The stored ₦1,678,600 figure isn’t a guaranteed checkout price. It should not be presented as a current seller offer. A proper quotation should identify the configuration, condition, included items, availability and the date for which the price applies.

Ask whether the tablet is already in Nigeria or being imported after payment. Those situations have different delivery and refund risks. If it’s a pre-order, find out what happens when the shipment is delayed or the final exchange-rate cost changes.

A seller should be able to explain the total amount due without vague additions later. Delivery fees, an adapter, a keyboard and a payment-conversion charge can turn a tempting figure into a much larger purchase. Compare the total cost rather than a number posted to attract messages.

Where to buy

Where to buy: Galaxy Tab S12 Plus with S Pen

I’d begin with Samsung’s official regional channels and established local retailers that can explain their sourcing and warranty arrangements. Ask for the exact Tab S12 Plus configuration rather than simply asking whether they sell Samsung tablets.

Gizmo Index links to marketplace and retailer searches, including Nigerian shopping platforms. Use those links to consider availability; they don’t certify individual sellers or confirm stock. On a marketplace, read the seller’s terms and keep payment within a method that offers the protection you expect.

For an imported unit, “warranty available” is too vague. Ask who receives a faulty tablet, where repairs happen, how long coverage lasts and who pays transport. A written local arrangement can be worth paying more for if you depend on the device for work or study.

Why I’d consider the Plus

The Plus has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display reaching 120Hz, Dimensity 9500 and an included S Pen. Those are serious features already. You don’t need to buy the Ultra merely to get OLED or handwritten notes.

Its smaller body is easier to justify for daily travel. Samsung lists 553g for the Wi-Fi Plus, before adding a case. That still deserves a hands-on check, but it’s a different proposition from carrying the larger Ultra and a keyboard everywhere.

For lecture notes, browsing, document review and entertainment, the Plus may leave more budget for accessories that improve daily use. The Ultra’s extra screen room is valuable when you specifically need it. Paying for the largest tablet by default is an easy way to overspend.

Accessories

Accessories: Galaxy Tab S12 Plus rear view and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra

The S Pen belongs in the standard tablet package, but compatible keyboards are separate purchases. Ask the seller to list every item included. Don’t assume a photographed keyboard is part of the quoted price or that an older Tab keyboard will fit.

Check the adapter supplied in that market’s box and whether it supports Samsung’s charging requirements. Fast charging depends on compatible equipment, not simply on a high number printed on a charger. If you need another adapter, include it before comparing offers.

A stable protective cover may matter more than an elaborate keyboard if you mainly write by hand. If you type essays for hours, try the keyboard’s layout, travel and stand stability. A tablet that feels convenient on a desk can be awkward on a lap with the wrong accessory.

Setting up the tablet

Match the box details to the invoice and the tablet’s settings. Look for damage around the frame and charging port. Be clear whether you’re buying sealed new stock, an opened display unit or a used device, because those should not carry the same expectations.

Test touch response across the screen and write with the S Pen near the edges. Open a light page and a dark image to check for obvious display problems. Play audio, test the cameras and connect a charger. These simple checks are better done before accepting the item.

If it’s the cellular version, check that function as well. Make sure setup doesn’t reveal an unexpected account lock or company-management restriction. Keep photographs of the identifying information and retain the receipt; support is much easier when the purchase is properly documented.

My verdict

I’d choose the Tab S12 Plus over the Ultra if I wanted a large Samsung tablet to carry around. You still get a generous screen, the S Pen and DeX, with a body that’s easier to fit into an everyday bag. For notes, browsing and entertainment, that would be the more sensible balance for me.

The buying decision still needs a real Nigerian quote. Treat the ₦1,678,600 estimate as a starting point and ask what the seller will actually deliver. Storage, connectivity and the keyboard or cover can change the full cost quite a bit.

If the confirmed Plus price is close to an alternative you already like, compare the apps and accessories you’ll use. I wouldn’t stretch to the Ultra just for the name, and I wouldn’t buy the Plus from a vague listing just to save a small amount. Get the right model at a price you can explain.
