Hisense’s US C3 projector range offers up to 300-inch images

Hisense’s C3 projector lineup is appearing in its US store, with models designed to take movie nights well beyond normal television sizes. The range supports projected images up to 300 inches, although the right size will depend on your room and setup.

C3, Pro, Ultra and Ultra Max differences

The standard C3 lists a triple-colour laser light source, 4K output and 2,500 ANSI lumens. It also has a rotating gimbal, automatic focus and image-adjustment tools, plus JBL-tuned speakers and VIDAA smart-TV software.

Higher models change the specification considerably. Hisense lists the C3 Pro at 3,000 lumens, the Ultra at 4,000 and the Ultra Max at 5,000. Treating all four as the same projector would miss an important part of the buying decision.

Choosing the right projector for your room

The adjustable stand is the feature I find most practical. It gives you more options for positioning the image without immediately committing to a fixed ceiling installation.

But a 300-inch claim alone does not establish picture quality in your room. Lighting, projection distance and the surface you use still matter. Store prices and stock are changing, so check the exact model rather than relying on one headline price for the whole range.
