Sony adds Fnatic Edition and Glass Purple finishes to its INZONE audio range

Sony is giving two of its INZONE gaming audio products a fresh look. The INZONE H9 II gets a Fnatic Edition finish, while the wired INZONE E9 earphones add a Glass Purple option.
The announcement expands the H9 II’s colour selection to Black, White and Fnatic Edition. The E9 now has Black, White and Glass Purple choices, with the purple version matching the wider INZONE Glass Purple range.
Both products were developed with esports team Fnatic and are aimed particularly at competitive first-person-shooter players. The H9 II is the wireless noise-cancelling headset; the E9 is the compact wired in-ear option. They are not interchangeable versions of the same product.
I like having more colour options, especially when gaming equipment can look very similar. But this announcement is about finishes, not proof of a new audio upgrade. If you already own either model, a different colour is not a reason to expect better sound or a better microphone.
Anyone considering the new versions should compare their local price with the existing finishes and check regional availability.
